What tarot can — and can’t — do for you
Tarot is a mirror, not a crystal ball. Here is how to think about what a reading offers.
People come to tarot hoping for certainty. What it actually offers is often more useful: clarity.
What tarot does well
- Brings hidden feelings and assumptions to the surface
- Shows the likely direction of a situation as it stands today
- Helps you see options you hadn't considered
What it doesn't do
Tarot doesn't take decisions away from you, and it isn't a substitute for medical, legal or financial advice. The future isn't fixed: when you change what you do, the outcome can change too.
A good reading leaves you feeling more like the author of your own story — not less.
